Be A Mermaid!

Happy Friday to all my stamping friends.  It is one rainy day here, so I may do a couple of posts to keep myself sane.

Today I have a card created with a Sheena Douglass stamp set, called Sea View. It is a gorgeous set, and was free inside Creative Stamping magazine.  All stamps are from the set, and the seagulls are from Impression Obsession.  The background paper is from the Hello Sunshine collection by Bo Bunny.  The coloring is quite the mixture of pencils, markers, and ink pads. I added a little Wink of Stella clear to the mermaids tail and the ocean waves.  (sorry it is hard to see)

I will be entering this over at Little Red Wagon #401, which is Wet and Wild.  My Mermaid looks a little wild, and the ocean sure is wet.

We were thinking of taking a ride to the Creating Keepsakes Convention, in Lancaster, today.  This rain shows no signs of cutting us a break.  Actually I should not complain, as it will save me money.  LOL!

That's such an awesome stamp set and you've colored it perfectly! I love the added seagulls and great scenery you've created here! When the sun popped out today, I hope you got to go somewhere nice! If you got to the convention, I can't wait to hear what you got :)

Hummm never been to that convention before?! Is it just paper and embellishments? The seagulls are the perfect accent to your card.
