A Very Merry Christmas!

As this Christmas day is coming to a fast close, dinner is behind us, presents a cleaned up and stacked neatly, let me take the time to wish you and Your families a very Merry Christmas.

I decided to post a card today which shows peace and serenity.  Here is hoping that is what we all experience as we move into 2018.

     Here is what was used:
The inside sentiment and the pine stamps are from Gina K Designs.  The JOY die cut is from Sizzix.  My dear family was cut apart and is from Memory Box.  I used a stitched circle from Gina Marie, and a sheet of type paper from an old dictionary.  The card base is kraft with white card leftovers and some snowfall embossing.  My circle was popped up with foam tape.

I would like to enter this in the Challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  It is an Inspiration Pallette Challenge, as can be seen in the above photo!

Thank you for taking the time to visit, and have a safe, healthy, holiday week.

Anything goes!

This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches # 424, there is no sketch.  It is their annual Anything Goes Challenge.  I like that!

Here is my offering for the challenge.  I used the adorable snowman from Penny Black, some designer paper from my stash and The calendar paper from Crate Paper, for the background.  I thought it was fun to do yellows to create this, as they are not a usual holiday color.  My snowflakes were created using a Martha Stewart punch and some shiny little baubles from Recolletctions. The coloring was done with Copic Markers and sponging was done with London Fog Memento ink.

Hope your last week before Christmas is going according to plan.  My main goal is to stay healthy, as my co-workers are hacking and blowing!  Thanks for the visit!

A Little Stitching.

Today I have a card to share using this adorable Fluffles the Cat image, with a matching sentiment, by Stampendous.  It was stamped and gifted to me by a dear friend.  The papers are older and from my stash as well as the die cut lights.  I added touches of sparkle with Stickles, plus Glossy Accents for the other light bulbs.  I double layered my stitched circles to accent this frazzled kitty!

I would like to enter this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, which is Stitch It.

This will also be entered over at the House that Stamps Built for their Tic- Tac- Toe Challenge!
It seems I can go right up the middle of the board!

I hope your holiday is perking along.  We got another covering of snow over night, so we are getting a late start today.  Hubby had to shovel before work.  Hoping the sun does some of the work!  Thanks for stopping by!

TMS #431

Just a quick fly by to put up a card I made for  Tuesday Morning Sketches  challenge,
this week!  There has been so much going on that I missed a couple weeks.

I used my wonky rectangle dies and this adorable vintage deer.  He is so cute!  The papers are from a vintage pad from Crate Paper called Peppermint.  I used some K & Co. trims done in gold, and a sentiment cut out of a piece of the designer paper.  There is a black bead eye and a red gem nose!  Sponging was done with Peeled Paint Oxide ink.

The holiday is creeping up quickly and there is so much to get done.  I may continue to be scarce until everything is complete.  Thanks for the visit!
