Sweet Wishes!

I made a set of cards using this candy corn die I found at the end of last Halloween.  Can't seem to find it anywhere, this year.  It is a great way to use up scraps of paper and come up with a cute card to send.  Don't you just love that it is stitched?  My bats are a punch from EKSuccess.  The sentiment die is another unknown, but will be great for all those candy, cake, fruit type cards.  My twinkling star embellishment is from Recollections.

It is hard to believe that it is almost Friday, again.  I must not waste this day and get some chores run this morning.  Sounds like we have a miserable Nor-Easter headed this way for the weekend!  Thanks for the visit!

My Project.

Hi all!  As I slowly continue with my sympathy card project, I thought I better check in and do a little post.  I was playing with my Distress Inks and stencils the other day, and came up with different versions of these to add to the pile.  I used Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed and Tea Dye.  My unknown sentiment was stamped in soft suede and cut with MFT inside out stitched ovals.  I used some Nuvo Drops in yellow as my brad heads.  I have added inside panels to the top and bottom of the inside, as they do not want a sentiment and will be signed by nurses and staff.

I haven't been posting as I did not figure most people would be thrilled with a rash of sympathy cards.  Hope all is well in your little part of the world, and I appreciate the visit.

Give Thanks.

Sorry I have been missing.  We are de-stashing our house for a move next year, and I have had family buzzing around and lots of household chores.  It leaves a person a little tired, but so worth the effort.

Today I have a card for the Shopping Our Stash Challenge #375 Giving Thanks.  I tried to get a jump on my Halloween and Thanksgiving cards, this year.  This card is one of my favorites.

It uses the stamp set called Thanksgiving Millie from Inky Antics.  I love the way she goes together and you can place different things in her arms.  She is also fun to color.  I also used some long neglected holiday washi tape, and metallic gold Nuvo Drops.

I would also like to enter this over at the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge #19.

Thanks for stopping by and may your week be perking along beautifully!
