What's Old Is New!

It is so fun to find a stamp in your stash that has never seen ink before! This ladybug has been in my drawer since it was purchased. The only markings on the stamp say "Limited Edition R.S. 1997. Yep, I have had it that long! Isn't it sweet how you can open and close it's wings? Just a simply adorable little thing that is easy to color and assemble. Why haven't I used this?

I made a torn paper hill with a piece of Junebug paper from Basic Grey. I do happen to have quite a few Stamps by Judith, which are perfect for combining with other stamps to create scenes. The heart flowers I used are from her as well as the sticks and stubbies that made the dots, hearts turned into butterflies, and peeking grass. I combined Copics and colored pencils with OMS to color and shadow.

See what treasures you have hidden....... show them some inky love!
