FTTC 52b Anniversary Challenge Cut Out & Pop

This is another one of the Anniversary challenges over at the Flourishes blog. We were asked to create a card that has parts cut out and popped up. Holy dimensionals! It is being hosted by DT member Betty Wright.

Well, here is what I came up with. I used 2 Flourishes sets. One is the new Lace Edges set that I used to create my popped border. The other is an old favorite called Poppy Patch. I colored my image with Copic markers #'s 0, C1, R22, Yg03, YG93, YG95, YR02, YR16. My dp is from DCWV. The candy dots are from Colorbok. Besides the border having popped areas, I also popped the flower head and the one leaf that is overhanging. I thought it had a bit of an oriental feel.

Snow update: 20 inches and still snowing! I will post photos later.
