The ladies over at
Just Us Girls challenge site have come up with another wonderful color challenge for us to try. It is so hard to believe that it is week #21 already!
These colors were very well suited to the Basic Grey, Indian Summer paper collection. I did let those papers do most of the work. My card base and image backgrounds are all
ivory Pure Luxury card stock from Gina K. Designs.I edged the images with SU cameo coral ink, and then I stamped the images and sponged with Memento, rich cocoa. I colored in my images with a water brush and cameo coral ink with touches of Copic marker.
To bring in the raspberry, I used thin strips and raspberry and coral Prima's. My only other accents are lines of pinkish pearls. Oh, lets not forget the stamps! The bird cage is an SU image and my sweet little birdie and sentiment are from the newest release by Asela Hopkins for Gina K. Designs, called
Dream Birds. I love this set!
