My card has a green base and a layer of white, which was a scrap from cutting out my Fanciful Flourish die from Cheery Lynn. I then embossed the negative with my hexagon embossing folder, and colored in random hexes with green. After I stared at this for sometime, I decided to insert a scrap of pattern to show through the flourish. My Butterfly and sentiment are both from Unity Stamps. There is sponging with inks and coloring with Copic marker. I used diamond Stickles on my green hex's, and finished with enamel dots from SU!.
I have not played Mrs. A.'s challenge in a very long time, and since I used mostly bits from my desk, I would like to take this over the Pixie's Snippets Playground. How about I enter it in Friends with Flair, for a second post, since I used their stamps? Thanks so much for visiting!

Mary Anne,
Look at you go girl, love the butterfly and the hexagons.
Beautiful card.
Fabulous card, Mary Anne. Wonderful idea to you your papers from the Flourish die and to color the hexagons. I'll have to try that because I do not have the patience to sit and cut out the hexagons like Carol does. I think this is a true beauty. Have a good weekend.
Your card has been rather cleverly and stylishly put together. I love the patterned paper behind the flourish aperture and the green hexagons randomly coloured and they really do sparkle up close. The butterfly is a spieces I have not got in my collection so I must rectify that straight away. lol. Thankyou for fluttering by my butterfly challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
Love the butterfly.

Wonderful card, superb ideas used. hello again from FWF x
Now we're talking! I love the colored hexes and especially the inlaid flourish! Great colors and design, and right up my hexagon alley :)
Very serene and elegant. Almost seems like it could be kept on hand for a sympathy card. Really nice card.
Saw you on Unity FWF.

Wow Mary Anne, what a lovely card. Just perfect for the Playground and of course Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge. What a wonderful coincidence to have one all ready. I'm waiting for her to pick the letter Q or something equally evil!!

Heavenly! Such a sublime creation...it makes me smile and brings to mind an Epictetus quote, "To pay homage to beauty is to admire Nature; to admire Nature is to worship God." Yes. I absolutely love this card! :)
Beautiful card!
This is beautiful! I love how so many of your cards are green themed, it's my favorite color but I rarely create with it for some reason!

Wasn't that great that Mrs. A.'s challenge worked for a card you had? That's happened to me before with challenges and it's so fun when it does! Your hexagon snippets design and gorgeous butterfly are so pretty, Mary Anne! I love this!! Hugs, Darnell
