Had a little extra time this morning, and I wanted to use a couple more stamps from my February KOM, from Unity. I decided to enter the
Unity Be Inspired Challenge for this month. Plus, I had seen a shaker card idea where you use a small glassine bag and sew in sequins to make the shaker. Had to try it. It's been a long time since I used my sewing machine!
My papers are from Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby pad. My sequins assortment is from Fancy Pants. The coloring is with Copic markers. Ribbon is hand dyed seam binding (wrinkled). My extra hearts are SU bitty punches, with a touch of sparkle from a Stardust pen. Perhaps I should have gone a bit lighter on the sequins, but I figure it is an added gift.
I hope you like, and I appreciate the visit!

This is a different type shaker than I've seen and I'm liking it quite a bit. Nice sewing job. I think my sewing machine would have a faint right there on the spot if I even went anywhere near it as it hasn't seen me in many, many years. Nice job all the way around. Enjoy your sunshine today.
Love this type of shaker card! SO pretty and don't think the sequins need to be any lighter. Love the pop of color they give an already pretty, pretty card!

shaker cards are always fun, and I love the little bag you used. I really like the crinkled seam binding you used for your bow!
This is my kind of shaker card - no stress putting it together!! This is beautiful Mary Anne, just stunning!!
