Welcome to my Friday offering for the Friends with Flair Link Up. I like to have more than one card made during the week, but my computer let me down, the end of last week. Things seem to be running, however there was an issue with leaving comments. Sorry I did not get to do that last weekend.
Anyhow...... my card is using the February KOM, called Let Love Grow. I am in need of some comfort cards for my stash. This one was created using all scraps laying on my table. The flowers, diamonds, and sentiment, are all from the kit. I stamped everything using Raspberry Ripple ink from SU!. I paper pieced a second set of the diamonds, and fussy cut a second flower spray, popping it over my first, slightly askew. I added some twine and buttons, and I am pretty sure my DP is a very old Basic Grey design.
Thanks for stopping around, Please be sure to visit all the linked creations, for a chance to win a prize!

Mary Anne,
This is really pretty and calming, raspberry is one of my new favorite colors to use although I really haven't had much of a chance these past few days. I hope your comment thing was fixed I know how frustrating it can be.
Very pretty card, I love the flowers!

I really like how you did this card. All the layering is beautiful.
Mary Anne, this is so pretty. What a nice, comforting card. And to think that you made it with your scraps - wowza! Thanks for sharing :)

Very pretty card!
Lovely! The colors are so soothing...fits the card wonderfully!
It was like everyone was trying to comment on things at once last week! I found a lot of times I got an error message AFTER leaving comments, but hitting 'refresh' fixed it most times. (Just in case that might be helpful to you :) )
I love the colours you've used here - very soothing, and flowers are almost always a must-use for me on a comfort card. I also love that you call it a COMFORT card - that's genius, because really, that's what we're hoping to provide, isn't it? :)
Your card is so soft and pretty and refreshing, words are beautiful.
Such a beautiful card - I'm sure it will bring great comfort to someone.
The flowers look awesome the way you've cut them out. I really like the overlapped diamonds in the corner, too. great design!
