My card starts with a golden yellow cards stock, layered with designer paper from Basic Grey's Picadilly collection. I punched out two lattice borders and laced them with a thin sheer ribbon. Next came a die cut from Cheery Lynn, called Fanciful Flourish. A big brown eyed susan was added with layered Prima's and a chocolate brad center. The butterflies are courtesy of MS, and are top layered with vellum and amber gems. Lastly, I used a sentiment from a Mother's Day set by Clear Dollar Stamps. It was cut out with a new die I scored at 50% off via A.C.Moore. Spellbinders, FleurDe Lis Squares was the name, and I popped it up for dimension. Oh, I forgot, my sentiment was stamped with ripe persimmon Distress Ink, and the sponging was done with Crushed Curry ink from SU. To find what all of the other Roses have created this month, please look on my side bar for links.
I would also like to enter this card in the weekly challenge #16 over at Joan's Gardens. Here are the detail that are needed for their challenge.
Use the colors yellow or gold
Use some type of butterfly
Use a pattern paper
Use some type of scallops or lattice
That is it for me today. Hope it is glorious in your little part of the world! May there be nothing but blue skies and sun.
