Leonardo
I have had some of these very vintage looking sets for years. I will be honest and say that I don't think they have ever seen ink. Back in the day, I knew what I liked, but when I got it home, I did not know how to use my purchase. I drug out some sets from Lost Coast Designs and got to work trying to create a vintage looking man/boy card. I knew I saw a challenge for it, but alas, the challenge was closed. I will peek around today to see if I can find it a home. Yes, I am using it for my DS's BD card. Shhhhhhh! He is so focused on his wedding next weekend that he will never look here. Ha Ha!
My base is a rogue card stock in a brownish color. The designer paper I chose is from Basic Grey's Little Black Dress. The stamp sets are called Leonardo Accessories, and Word backgrounds for ATCs Set 1. Both are from Lost Coast Designs. Everything is stamped and sponged with Memento tuxedo black and gathered twigs Distress Ink. The letter stamps are from a 1$ bin set, and have been distressed. That crazy laser cut corner piece is a sample I have had for ages called Fabulous Filagree, and it is from Lindy's Stamp Gang. The embellishments are twine, gold stickies and an antique button.
Stamping friend, Patti P. had a great suggestion on where to enter this card, but I did not use die cuts on the front. Thanks, Patti! My friend Carol, however, sent me to Shopping Our Stash Challenge #47, which is Vintage. Thanks Carol, that worked perfectly! Have a fantastic Sunday!

I have no idea about the challenges but your card is gorgeous! I am sure your son will appreciate it.
Great stamps. I love digging out some of the oldies and inking them up.
Hey Mary Anne, you could enter it at Sugar Creek Hollow...our challenge this week is punches and dies and as always in a vintage, shabby chic style. Love your stamps and I too have been trying to organize all of my stamps and stamp them in a book so that I know what I have. I can't wait to use some that I have had forever but not given much love. It has deterred me from buying much lately. You will find the link at my blog if you don't already have it. Love the card.
hugs...
