It's Been Wild!

Where has the month gone? It feels like just yesterday, I was waiting for my set from Melanie to arrive, so that I could get it inky and create. Wild At Heart, has made creating so much fun! It was an exciting month, with everyone trying new things, and techniques that have not been used for a long time! So many times I found myself saying "Why didn't I think of that?", but I was pleased that I came up with some different cards. Here is my creation for this final week as guest designer. My card base is Ocean Mist and Soft Sand, Pure Luxury card stock from Gina K. Designs. I found a coordinating scrap of DP in my stash. I took the large background stamp and using Marvy brush markers, I just inked around the flower images. They were then stamped directly over my DP. I thought they still needed a little pop so I highlighted the images with a white gel pen. I pierced all around the outside edge to add some flair. I have been learning how to make extra embellishments by rotating Martha Stewart, corner punches. The Modern Garland punch was used to make my medallion and then I added a circle punch with a stamped sentiment. Two trios of Dewdrops are used for accents.

I want to thank Melanie for having the faith in me to showcase her set and I hope to work with her again in the future. Can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve for the next release at Gina K. Designs! If you have a few minutes, please stop over at Melanies blog to catch a couple of other cards I whipped up!

Mary Anne,
This is cute, I love how you outlined the flowers. I was at Mel's and those two cards are amazing. Love the new punch and the way you are using it!

This is so delicate and lovely with those white accents on the flowers! They somehow look like they're growing underwater! Beautifully done, and Melanie was fortunate to have you showcase her stamps, for sure!
