Today, I decided to try something a little fun and funky. I started with a base of Sweet Mango Pure Luxury card stock form Gina K. Designs and a layer of designer paper. After adding another popped layer of Sweet Mango, I used Melanie's beautiful floral stamp that had been inked with A Dee Gruenig Blending Blox, called shades of orange. It is a variegated pad, and I dragged it slowly across the stamp to give it a wild, wood grained look. Once my image appeared from stamping, I got the brainy idea to outline all of the flowers and details with Liquid Applique, and heat it up. I added tiny touches of color to the top of the puffy paint, and just stood back and giggled. It worked. For embellishments, I used a double row of ribbon and a glittery daisy button. To my sentiment, I added a couple of pearl studs.Card #2 is just a little bonus card using one of the sentiments from Wild At Heart. Some card stock, animal print dp, flowers & punches, and you have a simple little note card.
I hope you have enjoyed my cards today, and please remember, try new things! If you have a few more minutes, pop over to Melanie's blog, to see another card I created with this wonderful set!
