Simply Stripes

The challenge on the Mod Squad Challenge Blog this week is called Simply Stripes.  I have had this pretty stamp sitting on my desktop for months.  My friend was purging it from her collection, and I thought it would make some lovely creations.  This stamp is from Wordsworth.

I used a white card base layered with a quilt strip paper from Little Yellow Bicycle.  I also used scraps of Lipstick Red, and In The Navy from Gina K. Designs.  The Faith stamp was embossed with Ranger gold EP.  The little flowers are from the SU! punch pack called Itty Bitty Accents.  My only embellishments are some champagne gold pearls.  I embossed my little strip of navy with a very old EF from Cuttlebug.

Thanks for taking a look.  Hope you're week is off to a great start!

It's good to see such a beautiful card made with this inspirational stamp! The gold embossing on red is beautiful, but I love the background paper too! Nice Job!

It's beautiful! I've been hearing so much about how pretty that Ranger gold embossing powder is and this is a perfect example! Love that background and all the stripes too. Great card!

What a wonderful sediment stamp, Mary Anne, so beautifully embossed in gold! Really, it is the best treatment to show it off against that deep red! The rest of your design is gorgeous, too!! Hugs, Darnell
