OWH Sketch #136 with a Twist

This will be my first time playing along with any of the Operation Write Home Sketches and Challenges. This is VCMP Challenge #6.  It sure was a fun one!  I also like the twist that was thrown in to use your punches.  I used a diamond punch that has no maker marking, and a daisy punch from Family Treasures.

My card base is PL, Innocent Pink card.  The sides were embossed with a Cuttlebug border folder.  I rubbed the tops of the embossing with TH Picket Fence Distress Stain, to make it pop.  My center panel was scraps from my bin.  I believe the stripe paper is DCWV.  I added my punches, and created my sentiment  panel, and stamped it with a saying from Clear Dollar Stamps.  Green pearls adorn the daisies.

It is raining in PA.... actually, we have flash flood warnings.  Even the dog won't leave the front porch!  Enjoy what is left of your holiday!

Mary Anne, This card is phenomenal. I love the diamonds with the flowers. Your embossing and paper choices are just fabulous. I find this to be a very pretty, cheery card. I am so glad to see you participating in an OWH as I'm sure everyone else is. Hope to see more of you. Enjoy your upcoming week. We are getting your rain tomorrow night.

I love this card. It is so unique with the diamonds. I wish you knew the name of the manufacturer. The embossing really sets it off. It's beautiful and sunny in north Florida today.
