TGIF

Sorry I have been a bit scarce this week. I promise I will get back in the swing of things soon. Life has gotten in the way of my creativity.

Here is a card that I made a week ago and it has been sitting here waiting to be loaded. I thought it really fit the bill. The stamp and sentiment are borrowed from my DD. This kitty and (I believe) sentiment, are from Penny Black. My card stock is Sweet Corn from GKD with a layer of digital lattice paper I printed off. My sponging is with Memento and coloring is with Copic markers. I cut the sentiment in a free form shape and added Prima's, mustard grosgrain ribbon, and some amber gems, as my accents.

I thought he was cute and he gave me a smile. As sad as the week has been, I am excited about tomorrow. We are doing the food tasting for my DD's wedding menu, Saturday evening. Woo Hoo, we will be able to check another big item off the list. Hope to see you soon.

This just gave the case of the giggles what a great card. It reminds me of my cat when I scare her (I don't do it often :) )

I LOVE this card - that cat reminds me of someone I know.... oh yeah - ME! tee-hee! I hope everything works out well for your daughter's wedding. My son got married just over a year ago and I'm so very glad that it's over - and I wasn't even the bride's mother! (But just 6 months ago my daughter passed away and ya know... a wedding is sure a lot more fun to prepare for than a funeral.) I'm not sure what your scare was... but I hope everything is going well now. I love stamping - it's my therapy!

(((hugs)))
