I Love Plaid!

This card was created for the Double D Challenge which is to use plaid.  Plaid gives everything a boost.  This is their inspiration photo.

Here is the lineup of what was used:

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake from SU!, Lipstick Red from Gina K. Designs, White from Neenah
Inks:  Distress Inks in Fire Brick and Frayed Burlap
Stamps:  Background from SU! and sentiment from SU! Holiday Home.
Dies:  Deer from Penny Black, background circle from Gina Marie, love word from in'spire by SB.
Embellishments:  random red gems, courrigated scrap.

I would also like to enter this card at Merry Monday Challenge #218 which is also Plaid.

How can we possibly have temps in the high 80's?  Well it sounds like today will be the last
of it.  I am seriously ready for fallish temps and pretty colors.  Have a wonderful Hump Day!

PERFECT! Love how you've used plaid as the background for your holiday card! Great job! Yes, we've been having 80s here in NE Ohio but it looks like they are about to drop as the week progresses. The tree colors have really started to POP the past few days with the warm days and cool evenings. BEAUTIFUL!!
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘PLAID’ challenge! We hope you’ll come back often.

This is stunning, Mary Anne. I adore that deer die with his massive antlers. Of course they are much nicer with those little red gems in there. All deer should have those gems, don't you think so? I do. Plaid really does being up a card several notches. This is a beauty. 80's today 40's tonight. What the heck is going on here. Our colors are actually better than they said they would be. Thank goodness for that beauty anyway.
