A Masculine Background

After more hours of playing, I created this masculine card.  I would like to enter it in the Mod Squad Challenge for this week, which is "Backgrounds".  Not sure why the Masculine cards are so hard for me.  I do love that I got to use more dies that I received for Christmas, and inks that had been long forgotten.

Here is what was used:

Card stock:  white, kraft, and snippets of black and teal.
Dies: Spellbinders Sprightly Sprockets
Sentiment:  Clear Dollar Stamps
Stencil: Crafters Workshop mini gears
Inks: Pacific Point SU!, and Brilliance Archival Platinum Planet
Embellishments: pre-cut frame from stash, pop foam, and gear brads by Eyelet Outlet

Since there were snippets used, I will be taking this over to Pixie's Snippets Playground # 167

I will be taking this over to the Just Us Girls Challenge #283 Word Week - Masculine, also.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This card has one very cool background! As often as I use these dies, I've never thought to use them as "stencils" to make a background! I love the colors and addition of metal pieces too! Great masculine card!

Fantastic card. I love the background with your combination of stencil work and die cut pieces. Doesn't look like you had any trouble with masculine card making at all. It's a great card.

This is an awesome snippets guy card, Mary Anne! I think they are so hard for us to make because most of our product is "pretty" and full of flowers and butterflies and the like! Well, that's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it!! Your gears are the best!! Hugs, Darnell
