Back to Posting!

Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday.  Life was a little up and down, with coughs colds, and trying extra hard to not spread germs.  I was fine but my DD who arrived day after Christmas, and my DH who was on vacation, both had the crud!  Actually, he still does.  Oh well, there is no planning for this!  Let just say Happy New Year, and move forward!

I found some time to play, finally, and just had to ink up a couple stamps from my December, Unity KOM.  It has the greatest stamps, but there was just no time, with holiday chores.  I will try to make better use of them this month.  For now, here is my Friends with Flair entry.

I made use of the reverse side of some Bazzill, purple Houndstooth paper.  I have a very hard time finding good papers with purple.  I also found some snowflake paper dollies on clearance, and these amazing snowflake stickers from Craft n Craftin'.  I added sequins to the centers for some dimension.  This lovely lady and my sentiment were both popped up with mounting foam, after being fussy cut.  Coloring was done with Copic markers.

I would also like to enter this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where it is Anything Goes

Look out Darnell, I am also going to enter my card in you're 3rd NBUS challenge.  My Unity Kit stamps have not seen ink, due to holiday turmoil, so NBUS it is!

Sorry to hear everyone has the crud - but guess it's just one of those things going around now. Hope you don't catch it for sure.

Well, first of all, LOVE that sediment! I had a t-shirt that said that about talking to your sister! So true, either way! Your card is so warm and cozy, Mary Anne! That houndstooth background is SO the right choice with your toasty lady. And, OMG, I agree with you about those snowflakes stickers=awesome!! Lots to love about this one!

Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #3!! I hope you come back two more times and mostly, I wish you all the best in the new year with no more turmoil and crud bugs!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell

This card is lovely. The doily is beautiful as is your sentiment (and oh so true). So sorry to hear of the sicknesses in your family and I'm hoping they are getting better and also hope you don't get it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your health. Enjoy the evening. VERY cold her and getting worse by the morning. Suppose to be -0- tomorrow morning with a wind chill of -25 to -25. Brrr. I'm not moving from this house. LOL HOpefully I'll get to do some crafting.
