A Little Friday Flair

Today I would like to share a card made with the November 2014 KOM.  I need to replenish my stash of sympathy cards, unfortunately.  I never like missing my Friday Friends with Flair posts.  If you have time check out the great sale that is going on over in the Unity store!

I started with a bubble gum pink card base, and then added designer paper from a KI pad called peace and butterflies.  I added a panel of embossed raining hearts from Darice, and a punched heart.  I cut out the bird stamp and using the edges of that same stamp, I decorated the heart and around the sentiment panel. This was all done with Smoky Slate ink from SU!.  There are a few mini pearls added for texture.

I woke to it snowing again.  I think maybe it is going to be one of those winters where we get little bits, but often.  I am not a fan of those.  Thanks for the visit.

Mary Anne,
You can never go wrong with birds on your cards. LOL Love that embossing folder too.

It's terrible that we all have to make these cards, but yours is so peaceful and caring that the recipient will feel that love you've put into it. It i a lovely card, Mary Anne. It just started snowing here, but we are only suppose to get a dusting. They said that in 1978 and we got the worst blizzard of all time. So I'm hoping they are right this time.

Lovely card Mary Anne. I just made 4 sympathy cards this week. I have to send them to my friends family. They are a tough challenge to make. You have done yours nicely with the bird,

I love the softness of your card. Sympathy cards are hard to make but give so much solace to those that receive them...

Sympathy cards are the toughest. Seems I've made too many lately. Sigh... Your card is lovely, and so serene and comforting. The recipient will cherish that you took the time to make this card so special. Hugs...

What a beautiful sentiment on your lovely card!! Your choice of background patterns and papers is very pretty and nicely offsets the neutrals of your focal panel.
