A Little CASE

Hope everyone is holding up with this brutal cold.  I have been skipping work the last couple days, and hibernating like a little bear.  While scoping out Pinterest this morning, I came across a fun card, and just had to jump over to my workspace and try it out.

Here is the card I saw, and decided to CASE. As it turns out, I cased a case! Thanks for the inspiration, Sherrie M.. I did not have the exact stamp, but I did have this very, very old D.O.T.S. stamp.  Anyone remember them?  They were the beginning of my stamping addiction, but I swear that this stamp has never seen ink!  Too funny!  I used 4 colors of SU! inks.  They are Strawberry Slush, Positively Pink, Pink Pirouette, and Crisp Cantaloupe.  My sentiment is from a SU! hostess set called Wacky Wishes.  I used some Washi tape and sequins as my embellishments.

This card was so much fun, I am sure I will be making more of these in different color families.

Since this stamp has never seen ink, and is probably one of the oldest stamps I own, I would like to take this over to Darnell's NBUS Challenge #3.  (Never Before Used Stuff).

Thanks for visiting.  Stay warm and safe!

Mary Anne,
I'm glad you are staying warm. Is it just one balloon stamped over and over again or a group of three on one stamp? Love the look which ever it is, had to look twice it look like you splattered around the balloons. Great effects

Added a pic of this oldie stamp for you, Colleen. Didn't mean to confuse.

Everything old is new again! I used something very old today too! lol This card is so crazy cool with the trio of colors! It's those dots around the edges of the balloons that really sets this stamp apart from the rest! Neat card!!!

This turned out really neat! Bet you'll use that neat stamp more often. Yes, I remember DOTS! I still have a few of the stamps I bought at Cherie's stamping party many years ago...(but sadly they just sat in a drawer for many years...till I finally learned out to stamp about 6 or 7 years ago...Wow time flies...

You can never go wrong with balloons, Mary Anne, especially LOTS of balloons, on a birthday card! I agree that this is a fun keeper of a design that would look equally awesome in any ombre colors - or even color combos like navy and silver for a guy birthday. I can see why this was CASEd and then reCASEd. Once it goes in my NBUS Pinterest board, I have a feeling it will be reCASEd several more times!! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #3 for the second time!! I love that you finally used your old virginal stamp!! I hate to tell you how many of those poor dears I have waiting patiently!! Hugs, Darnell
