Trying To Catch Up!

Happy Easter Monday, and it is also April Fool's.  My DH is home today, so I am surprised I have not been on the receiving end of a prank!  I just wanted to do a quick post with a couple of Easter creations, before it is but a distant memory.

My cards are made with the SU! stamp called Ears To You!  I just love it!  I orrowed this one from a crafty friend, but my own should be arriving today!  Woot!  I have seen this used as an adorable baby card, also.  I forgot to mention that the flourishes were made with sponging the negative pieces left from Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish die.

Next up is an Easter bucket with tag that I made for my 2 yr. old nephew.  I borrowed the bunny dies from the same crafty friend, and cut some in assorted colors.  I believe she said they were from Amuse. I also used the Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass die from MFT Stamps, along with some Prima flowers and pearls. Other tags were for the new twin girls, Easter gifts.  These identical cuties, were born into the family on January 31st.   Got to hold the tiny little sweethearts on Easter.

It was great practice for my GS's arrival which will be in 8 short weeks.  I  got to see his nursery, on Easter, and everything is just perfect!  Mom-to-Be is getting a bit tired, and I hope to get new progress reports today, after all the Dr. visits!  Can you tell I am just a little excited?  The next few weeks will be full of showers and preparing.  What fun!

Well that is it for me, Hope everyone had a joyful holiday, and heeded my candy advise from the previous post.  LOL!  Today is going to be a day of rest, with a little crafting thrown in  for fun.

I love what you've done with all those bunnies!! The first card is so awesome I'm gonna have to go and order that bunny stamp for myself now! Hah! I love the purple embossed background! I love that bunny die too - it looks just like a marshmallow peep! (how can anyone eat those disgusting things???) It looks cute on a card and that's as far as I'm going with that one :)
I gave the hubs a break from AFD pranks today. I always put salt in the sugar bowl and trick out his first cuppa coffee on AFD, but after years of doing that, he finally got wise and mentioned last night he'd probably have to test the sugar for salt content in the morning:) I'll have to come up with something new :)

We're a pair, your behind on posting, and I'm behind on commenting and still have not posted at all. Great card. I used to sponge negative die pieces all the time, even borders, but I haven't been smart enough to do it in ages. Your sponging has brought it fore front in my mind now. thanks you. I like the different patterned bunnies. I love the Easter tags. I can't wait for you new arrival also. It will be fun to have a new little one in our group. Enjoy the week.
