OWH Sketch #167

Hello, fellow Bloggers!  I am not sure how often I will get to post this week, since next weekend has lots going on, around here.   I was able to spend some time stamping this past Sunday, and  was playing around with the sketch from Operation Write Home.  It was a fairly simple one, however I did take a few liberties with it.  Here is what it looks like.

My first card uses scraps, and stamps from one of my all time favorite stamp companies.  I got an email stating that they will be at a local stamp show this weekend, and I can't wait to see what's new.  I am talking about Stamps by Judith.  This is one of the very first stamp companies I started collecting back in the day.  Judith likes to color with Tombow markers, and I tried to hold true to her style, but I just had to add some sponging and Copic colors.

My second car is again using scraps of a double sided papers called Smitten from K&Co., some Cocoa card, and a sticker from Marcerlla, that was staring at me from a bin.  My Mother's Day sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps.

The third, and final card, is one I strayed with.  I did a rectangle instead of the sketch circle.  The carrots and grass are also from Stamps by Judith, and I found a really old sentiment stamp from D.O.T.S., which is now Close To My Heart.  Too funny, what we can dig up!

That's it for me.  I had a real blast playing with these great old stamps.  Hope all is well in your part of the world.  Thanks for stopping!

I can see why you like these stamps. the are all very nice and you did a wonderful job presenting them. I love the bunch of carrots and it nice to deviate from the sketch once in a while anyway. I love the papers on your other two cards also and the sentiment on your second card is just beautiful. Three winners. Enjoy you week.

Are they too great or what? They're all wonderful, but I really love how you colored the stamp on the first card and I'm so glad you jumped the sketch on the third because the image and the sentiment are so cute!

Fantastic set of cards Mary Ann, and great takes on the sketch. I love the blues in the first one and your terrific coloring. The carrots are soooo cute the way you have them. Have a great time this weekend. Judith will be at my local Stamp Convention on the 27th and 28th and I'm looking forward to it. I just might have to get the carrot. Thanks for playing!

WOW! I'd never heard of stamps by Judith, but you really know how to showcase them! The first card is FABULOUS, and I love your coloring on that pot of flowers while the background paper is gorgeous too! All of these cards look amazing! I'm going to have to check out her stamps now ;) Thanks for enabling my friend :)

She was my first adventure into creating scenes. The grass, bucket, and each twig is a seperate stamp.
