I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by. Looks like we have at least 4 chances of some kind of snow and slop in the next few days. Sheesh, Mr. Groundhog, you promised spring!

A Quick FwF Post
Morning! Just wanted to post a couple of cards that have been laying on my desk, this week. I missed last weeks Friends with Flair, on the Unity Blog, and I just don't want that to happen again. Be sure to check out all the great work that people have linked. You may just win a prize for commenting. Better yet, ink up some Unity stamps and join in!
My first card is rather rustic, and uses stamps from the Feb. 2013 KOM. I grabbed some kraft and grey card stock, along with my Distress Inks, and got busy. My designer paper is Wild Asparagus, and the flowers have hints of white gel pen and Copic. Just added a simple twine bow.
Next is the new KOM at Unity, called "you are simply the best". This is just me playing with my Memento markers on a couple of stamps, after I punched them all out. I added a little shine to the letters with a Sakura Stardust pen. Navy mini brads and a gingham bow, finish things up.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by. Looks like we have at least 4 chances of some kind of snow and slop in the next few days. Sheesh, Mr. Groundhog, you promised spring!

wish I could send ya some sunshine..........I love your cards, the first one is gorgeous!!!!
I too love your first card Mary Anne. It is gentle and soothing. But Sunshine is what we are all hanging out for!
Two very attractive cards, Mary Anne. I love those wild asparagus and your second card is strikingly cheery. Nice job on both. We had spring for two days and it is freezing again. I want to get out in the yard but not this weekend, that's for sure. Enjoy yours.
Love them both!!! The first card reminds me of all the time spent playing out in the woods as a kid, and the second brought me back out to Arizona and the Grand Canyon...
Oh, and in reply to your comment on my page - yes, we need to get together to play again, and congrats on the future grand baby!
Both of these are beautiful Mary Anne. I love the delicate little flowers you used on the first one.
Hi Mary Anne! Both cards are fabulous!! They both look so different, yet both are equally pretty. Love the mix of bold colours on your second card - great effect!!
Both cards are lovely! I like the rustic feel to your first card and the second is simply sunny!
Oh goodness, both your card are so lovely! I love the soft gentle colors of the woodgrain in the first with the pop of flowers. And the second one is JUST AWESOME and bright! LOVE IT! Thanks for linking up to Unity's FWF!
Both cards are adorable, Mary Anne!

Beautiful cards! I love the rustic look!
Great cards, Mary Anne. That second one is so bold. Love the sunburst.
Love both of your cards. It is always so fun to see how everyone uses their Unity stamps.
I love the dainty flowers on the drab background! Very sweet.
Great cards Mary Anne! You have such a great eye for combining colors and patterns! I just love those bright, white tiny flowers against that dark background! It's like a breath of spring to come {which isn't happening around here just yet!} Great design on the 2nd card with all that red, blue and gold! Happy weekend!
Both are fantastic but I love the "fee" on that first card! So pretty in the darker colors!
Lynn
I do like your first card, but the second is a total WOW for me! So glad you shared both.
These are each so different and I love em (-:
Your turn for snow ...I've had enough LOL
Great cards! Love the second one!
Oh, Mary Anne! These are BOTH gorgeous!!! I just get lost in the first one...I could stare at its beauty ALL day!!! I say prop that one up on your desk to help lift your spirits with the impending forecast. We are in the same state and, apparently, are on the same weather belt path. "Slop" is definitely a good word to describe what is on its way. Stay warm and safe, sweet friend :)
Great cards, the second is my favorite
