I started with ivory and added a layer of designer paper from DCWV. It is from their Crafty Pad. I used the Old Barn stamp (Q1228) from Art Impressions, and stamped it in Memento, Rich Cocoa. I added a sentiment from Amuse, and sponged my edges while it was still in my Spellbinders die, from the Labels Seventeen set. As accents, I added twine and an antique button that depicts a horse and rider, jumping over the same kind of fence as is in the stamped image. That is my stash item.
It is sweltering hot at 98 degrees, and they are saying index of 105 tomorrow. The grass is all dying and mowing has halted. I fought off a virus last week, and I am finally starting to find some energy. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

Really cute
Love the sky background
Think it would work without the ric rac too, but, I do appreciate thats a lot of white space
FAB card
Thank you so much

Hi Mary Anne, both cards are gorgeous, but the first is my favorite, love the vintage button... hey send how warmth my way!
Love both of your cards, the barn looks like something you would find in our valley!
Both cards are great, and it's good to see you back at the stamp table again! I love the barn with that horse & rider button - it's very country-ish. Your 2nd card is really cute with that sweet little image:)
Tomorrow is going to be the hottest day of the year, and guess who has a Dr's appt. at 4 PM? I can hardly wait.......NOT!!!!
I love these!! beautiful job you are so talented!
Love your cards, the barn has the distressed look, love it. That little grasshopper is so cute and I think you have enough white space on this one ;) It is sweet.
This is a great LIM card Mary Anne... what a fun image... I agree with Mandi that although it might seem a little scary to have so much white space, it would also have worked without the two bands of ric rac... but it's a super card!
Thanks so much
