Celebrating Birthdays

I have many springtime birthdays that need to be celebrated.  When I sat down to create today, I had those in mind, and was very lucky that it fit the theme of some of my favorite challenges.

Here is what I used:

Card stock : black, pale pink, and scraps of Neenah Solar White
Coloring: chalk pastels
Embossing:  Birds folder by Sizzix
Punches:  2 different Martha butterflies, and an SU! flower from Itty Bitty Accents, plus the SU!
                corner punch
Dies: Happy birthday from Elizabeth Dies, and a new to me die from SB D-Lites called Framed
Embellishments:  Gems from Queen & Co., enamel hearts from Chickaniddy.

I would like to enter my card for the following:

Pixie's Snippet's Playground #170:  Use snippets
Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge #27:  Butterflies plus C for corners
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:  Happy Birthday
Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge #255:  Birthday with Butterfly
Phew, that was a bunch for me!  Thanks so very much for taking a peek.

First off your grandson is getting bigger and cuter (if at all possible) every day. I hope that shamrock brings him luck throughout his life. Now on to your card. It is lovely and has that soft, sweet look I like so much. Great job, Mary Anne. Have a good night. Lets hope spring weather really shines through soon.
