It's another crazy week in PA! Last evening we experienced 12 storms on radar at once, all producing damaging hail. The one shopping mall in Reading, PA had hail inside the mall. It broke out all of the sky lights! Cars look like they had hammers taken to them, and many had to sit on the sides of the road because the windshields broke right out! It was all around us, but we were very lucky. We were not as lucky 18 yrs. ago, when a similar storm destroyed our cars, siding, windows, patio furniture, etc.... I can feel for the people suffering loss. Funny thing, that too was Memorial weekend!
On to my cards for
Unity's Friends with Flair. This week I was just totally playing, and I hope you will enjoy what I made.
Card one uses The May 2014 KOM. I was playing with my new watercolors to create the background. The heart was glazed and glittered, which came out looking like cracked glass. I have been using lots of wrinkled ribbon, as I had such a blast making it. Prima flowers and scraps of card stock, finish this one off.
Card two is also from the May 2014 KOM, and was created on white card stock using Memento markers direct to stamps. I added a few mini Prima's, some raspberry gems, and used the Stardust pen for some extra sparkle.
My third, and last card, has been sitting here waiting for it's turn to be posted. I used one of the Unity, Punny stamps that I picked up during a sale. This made a great, simple birthday card for one of my girlfriends. I used some bubble gum card stock, a scrap of designer paper that has summery words, some strips of Washi tape, and some vellum flowers and pearls.
That is it for me today. Please have a wonderful, safe holiday weekend!

You have been a busy lady. Great cards! Love the water coloring on the first one! Have a great Holiday weekend.
Mary Anne,
WOW three very different cards and designs. The water colors are very pretty, the second one with all the tiny flowers is just adorable and the third with the washi tape and kraft dp is eye catching. You have a wonderful weekend also.
It's fun to create 'just because', and you did a wonderful job on all of your cards! (As always!!!) glad that you are okay. I had heard Some Pa. folks on FB yesterday talking about that mall. Sounds pretty scary! Thanks for sharing...Happy weekend!
Great set of cards, Mary Anne. Congrats on your featured card on Unity's FWF post today! Very lovely!
The first one is so pretty with that watercoloring and the next two are cute, cute, CUTE!! Great set of cards and I love all of them.
Yikes on those storms! Thank goodness y'all are ok. I know, too, what the hair can do after losing all the windows in the house/cars, etc.....Glad you weren't hit by any of them this time.

That does sound like a crazy storm! Glad you were lucky this time around. Very pretty cards, I love that KOTM and what you've created with it!
Very cute cards!
Cute cards! I think I am having crafting withdrawal, I've been too busy to play lately! Thanks for the fun inspiration!
These are terrific! Love them all. Love the sentiment SO much on the 2nd card :)
Very cute cards, and I see you've been busy too! I love the cracked glass effect on the heart, and those cat-eye glasses are super cute with the gems. The sentiment on the last card just makes me smile! NJ on all of them and we really did get lucky with those hail storms didn't we? It was really strange to see the plows out clearing the hailstones off the roads in May!
Great fun! I'm glad you had time to play this week. Stay safe! We had hail damage a couple years ago, and you're right -- no fun.
Nice cards. Really like that watercolor!
Gorgeous cards, love the water colored background and fun sentiments.
