Happy Friday, FwF!
I am still baffled at how it got to be Friday again, so soon. Hope all is well in your little part of the world. The 2 cards I am sharing for Friends with Flair, this week, are both using the new March KOM, from Unity. It is called "The Reason Someone Smiles". The images are just lovely!
Both of my cards are made with designer paper from My Minds Eye. I have had this paper for years, and I found it great to stamp directly onto. There is a great distressed feel about it. A new Sizzlet die came my way, and I created the doily with it. I also used a new Real Red ink pad from SU! That is a whole other story!
Have you ever pushed a new SU! ink pad, to open the lid, and have it fly across the room? Then you can't get it back together. Ugh! Here is what I looked like, after that mess!
Okay, my friends...... enjoy the upcoming weekend! So glad you stopped.

Mary Anne,
Beautiful cards and your right such pretty images. I love the sentiment. P.S. my hands look that way almost every time I create these days. LOL
So pretty! I really like the sentiment on the first card.
Both cards are gorgeous. The first one grabbed my attention but when I look at the second one again it is really beautiful too and subtle. Great job. Hugs~Patti
Haha so its not just me that catches open inkpads lol i often end up with very inky hands.
Lovely cards...i especially like the sentiment on the first one how lovely.

Beautiful card Mary Anne.
I can see you chasing the ink pad now LOL, lovely cards, love the sentiment on the first one!!!! Have a wonderful weekend!
Lovely cards :)
Two very sweet cards Mary Anne. I love the sentiments on both but that first sentiment is wonderful. My finger have looked exactly like your many times trying to get those darn things open. A Real Bummer! I can't get the tops back on, thank goodness for Hubby's patience.
I hear you on the new SU ink pads! Same thing happened to me about it flying across the room and also inky fingers! Hope when it went flying it didn't ruin anything in it's way.
Love both of these. The first one is so pretty with that wonderful flower and then second is WOW with the bird and that awesome embossing! Two beauties!

I've never had an ink pad fly apart like that, but I've struggled and gotten inky knuckles trying to close them back up again many times! LOL Great cards for the FWF today. I love the sentiment on the first one and that plump bird looks so cute on the 2nd! NJ on both!
Goodness, these are gorgeous. Lovely work Mary Anne. :)
my fingers have looked like that many many times! my favorite of the two is the first and I can't even tell you why... I just like it
Beautiful cards ! It's always messy when we get crafty hehe. :)
Beautiful cards! I just had one fly out of my hand on to a new tablecloth..
Both lovely cards. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Pretty cards, I especially like the first one!
Beautiful cards, lol about your fingers Red is so hard to get off
The doily with the bird looks great. My hands look like that most of the time. I am super messy no matter the type of ink.
I recognize your paper…isn't it crazy how we "save" our paper? Both of your cards are fabulous, sentimental and lovely…the red fingers, not so pretty but they are the tell tale sign of a true artist! Hope you have a great week!
Love your cards! I am often all inky after creating :)
Beautiful cards! It's a sign of a good crafter to have inky hands. :)
Beautiful cards, Mary Anne. Inky fingers are a good sign that you've been busy! Have a great week!
Beautiful cards, Mary Anne. Love your new doily die. Great stamping. Thank you for the inspiration.
Love them both and your hands look similar to mine, lol! Xxx
Ahhhh....a touch of Spring, flowers and birds. Love the red fussy cut flower despite the trouble with the ink pad.....yes have had that happen....Ugh...
The little sparkling bird is adorable and such a pretty card.
