Happy Holiday Weekend!

Hard to believe it is the last official weekend of summer.  I am kind of glad to see this one go, but as I will reveal in the following weeks, I am not sure if the home renovation project that is looming in my very near future, will be easy.  More to follow.......

Here are a couple of Unity stamped cards that I have created throughout this past week. I just hate to miss my Friends with Flair post.  The first uses the great leaf background stamp, the oak leaf frame, and sentiment from the August 2013 KOM.
I used scrap papers from my bin, a fun felt swirl, leaves from an SU! Sizzlet, and a puffy pumpkin from my stash.  I know, I know.... a little random.  Okay, so this is when I added autumn colored gems.

My second card uses assorted stamps from a Unity grab bag I won, way back when.  There was not a bad stamp in the lot, and I love to dump it out and just put something together.  I always try and keep a few sympathy cards on hand, so this is added to my stash.

Have a wonderful, safe holiday, and thanks for the visit!

Mary Anne,
I missed last Fridays sorry :(. Things are finally settling down here a bit. Tomorrow is the big scary move. All my paperwork is in order I just hope they load good. I love your cards the first one may have started random but your finished product is amazing. The second one is just precious, it could lift anyone's spirits. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Sweet cards, Mary Anne!! Love the bright yellow flowers and the autumn card. Over here, it's coming into spring and it's been so wet this week :) Have a lovely weekend!

Two very nice cards. I love the fall colors and that big felt scroll. Cozy moments, what a nice thought especially in the fall. Your sympathy card is very soft and thoughtful. Nice touch to have the writing softly in the background. I wish you well in your renovation project. It's always a mess, but well worth it in the end, at least it was for me. Enjoy this long weekend. Kiss that little Brian for me when you see him next.

Two wonderful cards. Love the fall colors on that first one (and am wishing Fall was here already)!
Home renovation.....yikes! Have fun with that - you'll love it when it's all said and done though.

I know what you mean. I could not post last Friday but try to manage and visit others' posts. I love to support FWF 'cause I think it is a great idea, great inspiration forum and opportunity to get to use my stamps... So I dont want it to be cancelled or anything.
Your cards are great. TFS
