Hello, fellow Bloggers! I am not sure how often I will get to post this week, since next weekend has lots going on, around here. I was able to spend some time stamping this past Sunday, and was playing around with the sketch from
Operation Write Home. It was a fairly simple one, however I did take a few liberties with it. Here is what it looks like.
My first card uses scraps, and stamps from one of my all time favorite stamp companies. I got an email stating that they will be at a local stamp show this weekend, and I can't wait to see what's new. I am talking about Stamps by Judith. This is one of the very first stamp companies I started collecting back in the day. Judith likes to color with Tombow markers, and I tried to hold true to her style, but I just had to add some sponging and Copic colors.
My second car is again using scraps of a double sided papers called Smitten from K&Co., some Cocoa card, and a sticker from Marcerlla, that was staring at me from a bin. My Mother's Day sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps.
The third, and final card, is one I strayed with. I did a rectangle instead of the sketch circle. The carrots and grass are also from Stamps by Judith, and I found a really old sentiment stamp from D.O.T.S., which is now Close To My Heart. Too funny, what we can dig up!
That's it for me. I had a real blast playing with these great old stamps. Hope all is well in your part of the world. Thanks for stopping!
