Hi everyone! Hope all is well in your little part of the world. It has been 80 degrees in PA, the last couple days. This is March, right? Anyhow, today is Friday, and it is time to share a
Unity project with you. Please bop over and see what everyone on the
Friends with Flair has up for your weekly inspiration.
My card images are from the
March 2012 KOM, called head to soul. I decided to ink up one of the larger images from the kit, which is this adorable banner. I inked it with Rich Cocoa Memento and stamped onto a linen type card stock I found in my stash. Now, I had to decide on coloring it. My poor old colored pencils have not seen paper in a long time, so I got out the blending stumps and OMS. That gave me the soft look I was going for.
The base is an oak tag, and I embossed some Soft Suede card with a TH Texture Fade in wood grain. Then I got out the liquid Picket Fence Distress Stain, and gave it a bit of a white wash. It was cut in strips and added to the background. The rest is gems, pearls, flowers, leaf punches, and a dab of Stickles. My sentiment is from the kit also and in popped on graduating circles. I wanted to keep this on hand for a graduation, promotion, weight loss, etc.
Have a wonderful weekend, friends!
