A I Challenge #21

Hello my friends!  Hope you have had a great start to your week.  I have not been posting as often, but trust me, I am still here.  I just had to get a card in for the Art Impressions Challenge, this week!  Challenge #21 asks us to use a handmade flower/flowers.  This is another great challenge and I had such a good time doing it.

My Art Impression stamp is called Country Lamp Post, L-1210.  I colored with Copic Markers and adder Crystal Effects to the lamp lenses.  The sky was created by sponging with VersaMagic inks.  My designer paper is from DCWV.  I added a couple wraps of bakers twin, tied in a bow.   My flower is constructed with 3 sizes of daisy punch, with a fringed paper center.  The petals and tips were inked with VersaMagic ink and felt leaves were added.  I thought it needed a little more texture, so I cut 2  swirls from Sizzix Sizzlets, inked and added them.

Well, that is it for now.  I joined Facebook yesterday and I have not a clue what I am doing.  I have mostly been lost in games.  Love my games!  Take care, and I will see you soon!

Mary Anne, loving what you are doing with these stamps...I don't know why but I love lamp posts and the scene you created is beautiful and so is that flower. I have a facebook page, but not a clue what is going on...but partly my fault, just not time to get into it. Enjoy the games though.
