Poppy Valentine

First I would like to wish my dear stamping buddy, Olga, a very Happy Birthday! Here is hoping that this year brings health and happiness to you and those you love. Party hard!

I did not want the week to get away from me, and miss the Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge. This week, we are to create a Valentine. I decided to combine it with the Color Challenge over at Stamp TV, which is to use red, black, and white. I just love that color combo!

My card stocks are Pure Luxury, Onyx Black, Red Hot, and Pure White. My poppy image is from Nina Brackett's stamp set called Hugs and Prayers. The sentiment is just a little clear stamp from Studio G. I colored with Copics, added touches of Diamond Stickles, wrapped with red and white bakers twine, and tied a bow through a vintage Abalone shell button. I added a border of tiny heart punches to jazz up the bottom. It is hard to tell, but the bottom of the front panel is cut shorter to show another row of colors.

Have a wonderful day! I love when you stop by.
