Joan's Gardens Challenge #7
This is my first time joining a challenge at Joan's Gardens. Had a call from one of my blogging friends this afternoon, telling me to get busy! Okay, okay, I made a card. Sheesh! Joan asked us to create a Birthday card that is bright and cheerful, and includes a flower/flowers. I think I achieved my goal. Tropical makes me happy and it seems to be a real "in" thing, this summer! There are some gorgeous sets out there to play with! I have chosen to use Theresa Momber's set called Aloha, which is her latest from Gina K. Designs. I have many tropical scraps in my bin, since we have hosted a few Luau's here at the house, and I have scrapbooked the events. I wish I could remember the designers. The coloring was done with Copic Markers. The small HB is an unmounted that I can not ID either. Does it make you want to do a birthday hula? How about sip on some celebration cocktails? Yum!
