Another Birthday?
Today I have a cute card I made for someones upcoming birthday. I found this adorable mouse in my mess here, and just wanted to play and color it up. I cut it with my Gina Marie fishtail banner dies and did a second layer with a scrap of Bazzil card. The gingham is from Gingham Gala designer paper at SU!, as are the bow and sequins. Sponging is Balmy Blue with Copics doing the coloring!
Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend. Yesterday, we took a ride to find our local beach resort and made a few stops at places like Home Goods and Bed Bath & Beyond, since we do not have those in our area. Found some great bargains! Thanks for the visit!

Peeps!
Had a fun time creating this card today, using some of my older stuff that is now within reach! 4 different punches, and a stamp set that I was gifted make this card super cute! Pulled out my scalloped circle and 1 3/8 circle from SU! Also used my Martha branch punch and a one that has no name, but looks like rose leaves. The stamp set is from Technique Tuesday, I was told. I added some Got Flowers from Prima, some gems, and a satin bow. Sponging is done with Melon Mambo ink, also SU. My card base is sweet corn card from Gina K. , with a layer of white and topped with a scrap of designer from who knows... LOL! Yes, my name is Mary Anne, and I am a paper hoarder.
Hope everyone is having a good week. Hubby actually had to leave the house for work today, and it is amazing all I have gotten done!

A Little Easter Wish!
Today I have a card that I made this week to replenish my Easter stash. I bought this SU, Ears To You stamp a few years back and I always love the cards that it makes. Whether you do the bunnies all one color or do each of them different, they always come out nice and crisp. They were cut out with a Gina Marie stitched Square die. I added some ribbon from the latest Sale-A-Bration catty along with matching sequins. The back ground paper was pulled from my scrap bin and the embossed piece I believe is Anna Griffin, from a friend. I am thinking my ink used is Lemon Lime Twist.
Anyway, I figured I should sneak in a couple of Easter cards, before the holiday zooms by and goes poof. Thanks for taking a look! Enjoy the upcoming weekend. Hope your Easter week is progressing nicely!

By The Sea
Today was the first day that I got to ink and color for no reason. Well that is not true, actually I made some Father's Day cards, to try and get a jump on things.
I pulled out an older set from Gina K. that was illustrated by Theresa Momber, called By The Sea. I made white bases with Smokey Slate panels and designer print backgrounds from Pinterest. All the paper I own and nothing suited... go figure. Images and sentiment were stamped in Hero Arts Intense Black ink, and colored with Copic markers. The sky was sponged with Baja Breeze ink from SU, and some matching Dewdrops were added as embellishments.
That is more then I thought I would be doing today, so I consider it a bonus! Thanks for the visit and if you are in the path of this upcoming crazy weather, be safe!

New Baby Coming Soon!
Nope, not my kids, but my sweet niece! She just announced she is due in October. How happy for them!
Now as I have not found my stamp room, yet, making a card was quite a chore. Here is what I used:
Paper: Ivory base with Graphic 45 double sided designer from their Precious Memories
Collection. It has great cut aparts on one side and the fun plaid on the other.
Stamps: Unity, Prego/ Good Luck and and the little lamb from Meow. Purr. Baa.
Inks: Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick and Salty Ocean.
Embellishments: SU organza ribbon, and Nuvo Drops in Bubblegum Blush, Caribbean Ocean,
and White Blizzard. There is scotch foam tape to pop everything up.
There is a bit of sponging and I also used the water brush with my inks.
It sure felt good to create something, and I sure hope I get things in place soon! Thanks for looking!

Forever Friend.....
Here is a card I made prior to us having to put down our Black Lab, Jessie Girl! It has been a few weeks now and although she is so sadly missed, we all know it was for the best. Sometimes I turn quickly as I feel her presence.
My friend Carol sent me some punches from the SU dog punch that came out recently, and I had to create something. I used more of my scraps, for the background, and added to a black base. My stitched window is an unknown and I used the center for my sentiment. My dog has a white embossed collar with a gem stone tag and a sweet little heart that is dangling from it's lips. I finished my corners with black enamel dots. I since purchased the punch, as I am feeling this will be used frequently!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Mmmmmm!
Found a fun card in my files that I created ages ago. Thought I would share it, since it uses so many fun things. The chicken image and sentiment are from TLC creations and are digital. This embossing folder has no maker but made for a fun background. I used a scrap of sunflower paper with a stitched postage edge die as a place mat with a cross stitched semi-circle a my sentiment holder. Coloring was done with colored pencils to make my chicken look crispy. I added a slurry of green sequins for some sparkle. Oh what fun!
My stamp room is down and mostly packed. Our move will start next week. I really miss getting my fingers inky, but it will be fun to unpack and reorganize, I think. I will find many forgotten things to get busy using, since I will not be working anymore. So many new things.... retirement, new house, new state and plenty to explore.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Since I have to work tomorrow, I wanted to be sure and do a post for all the lovely people out there. This card was created with stamps I purchased on Ebay, an SU! sentiment, Fun Papers from Hobby Lobby with a background created with a cross stitch semi circle. My lips are Real Red ink from SU!, and are stamped and cut with a die from Diamond Press.
Here is a second version I made using more flowers on designer paper, punched hearts, and a die cut border. I just thought this fun lady was a riot and makes me laugh when I think about her as perhaps someone's granny! I did her coloring in Copic markers. Going to have to search lots to see who makes her. Isn't she a riot?
Anyway, Have a wonderful day, that is full of hearts and flowers. Maybe some wine and a nice dinner for you, also! You still have some time to come up with a perfect treat for your honey! Time is rushing by so quickly that, we decided that our existing home needs to get listed. That will be this afternoon. Wish us luck!

Hip To Be Square!
I do not usually make square cards, but for some reason this card was calling to me. My base is navy card with a layer of Penny Black designer paper. I used tattered edge, square dies for both my navy and white layer. Sponging was done with old olive. Recently I purchased the Happy Tails bundle from SU!, and I just love the Dog Builder punch. That created my silhouette.
Also used were some Judith stick stamps, for the hearts and swirls, and Nuvo drops in clear. My with love die is an unknown. There is Wink of Stella on the mouth heart.
Looks like warmer weather is headed our way, and that will be a pleasant change. Enjoy your weekend!

Stuck on Valentines
Happy Friday! Can you believe I am posting again? It is these darn Valentines... There is so much junk out on my desk, that I just keep making them! I have even been cutting up ancient designer papers and using scraps.
This first card uses a kraft card background with a layer of Hobby Lobby paper. My sentiments are printed and cut with a stitched oval die. Small hearts are a Marvy punch and the border lace is unknown. Baker's twine, gems and a wee bit of sponging, completed this card.
Card #2 starts with a black background, a layer of hoarded paper, an embossed strip by Diamond Press, and a bit of gold glitter card. This also includes a My Favorite Things bear colored with Copic markers and popped up. Same oval die cut, same sponging and printed sentiment (slightly different).
This crazy weather has felt like we are living in polar regions. I was able to work early this week and stay snuggled inside for most of this. Everyone stay warm!

Working on Valentine's
Here is a little card that made me step back and smile. I used some recently acquired dies and bits of this and that to make this come to life.
My banner dies are tied up with bakers twine and solid twine from American Greetings. The hearts are Marvy punches coated is Wink of Stella for a shimmer. Copic markers were used to color the beak and feet of the little duck. The sentiments are from SU! and their Sealed with Love set. My card stock is scrap and the designer paper is from an older 6x6 pad by K&Co called Sweet Nectar.
Hope everyone is doing well. Getting closer to purchasing our retirement home, which has been quite a bit of work. I am sure there will be another long break while we pack up this room, but I vow to return, and have more time on my hands.
