SOS 372- Welcome Home.

Here is a card I created for my niece, when she moved to Texas, last year.  She met a guy, fell in love and moved back to his roots.  So far they have bought a huge ranch, and last weekend they married.  I get goosebumps just thinking how exciting her life has been!  She is been on my mind, and when I saw the challenge at Shopping Our Stash, this card came to mind.  Welcome home, indeed!

Talk about stash!  Started with a layer of kraft, added a layer of designer paper with wood and butterflies, I use 2 ancient embossing folders, and some good old Jolee's embellishments.  I covered the rustic, Bluebonnets, a good old belt buckle and the Texas flag.  Now that is how you spell home!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend.  The temps are getting super nice, and it makes you feel alive!  Thanks for stopping by.

This came in in the Top 3!  Thanks!

Yeehaw, everybody giddyap to Texas for some down home foot stompin'! This is so much fun and I like the story behind it. It sounds like a fairytale romance, but the card is really cool with all the rustic Texas elements! Good one!
