I Challenged Myself

Happy Monday!  Call me crazy, but I decided to give myself a challenge.  A couple weeks ago I saw this designer paper at Tuesday Mornings.  It was a whole pack for .99.  I am not sure why, but I seem to be drawn to paper that is different strips.  Here is what one sheet looks like.......

I see by the label on the pkg. that it is called Something Sweet, but I do not know the designer.

Sooo, my challenge was to see what I could make out of it.  Here are the results......

I only added a few little goodies, and this is what I came up with!

(great, now Blogger wants to center the rest of my post)

I would like to enter this over at Pixie's Snippets Playground, as I do believe I used all the snippets that I could!

The other bits that were added, are Washi tape, Stickles, punches, pearls, candy dots, dimensional tape, and a gemstone butterfly.

My friend and I were just saying how each of us sees  paper in a different way, and that this paper would have her stumped.  I saw it as multiple projects.

Thanks for stopping by!

Mary Anne,
I'm impressed these look so thought out. I always see these types of dp and buy them sometimes thinking I could use the strips on other cards or projects I never though of using them to design a card. These turned out fantastic.

Really fabulous makes Mary Anne! That paper is fab and you really have used it beautifully.

Aha, you haf ze centering of ze text. When you write your post there's a bit on the top bar that looks like lines just along to the right of where you upload photos, it's where you adjust alignment. If you click there after uploading a photo you can 'left-justify'. Shout if this makes no sense at all!

You did do a wonderful job with your challenge. You made up some outstanding cards, but I have to admit that I would have been puzzled by those papers. I will think twice now before I overlook some papers and think about how well you worked with a challenging design.
