Hurry Spring!

I found a stamp set which I forgot about, while I was rooting around, the other day.  Since this weather is not going to give us a break, anytime soon, I decided to dream about it, and create things that will over rule the snow that is falling.

The stamp set is called "Turtle Crossing" and is by Tricia Santry Studio, for Fiskars.  These are all individual clear stamps that I put together to create this little scene.  The paper is from DCWV and their Violet Leaf pad.  Coloring is with Copic markers, and sponging is with SU! inks.  I found this floral lacy/ribbon hanging on my wall.  Of course, I used the Spellbinder Scalloped Oval to cut out my scene.  I added gold Stickles, Glossy Accents, and a single Dew Drop.

I would like to enter this at the Mod Squad Challenge to create a Spring card.  I would also like to send this over to Pixie Snippet's Playground, since I used some unloved bits.

I hope you think my little turtle is cute.  I am pleased with the way his shell came out.  Thanks for stopping by.  Sending you Springtime thoughts.

Well this certainly made me think Spring with all these greens & lavendars. Such a cute little turtle with his widdle head poking out. Love the scene you created and that lace is beautiful. Always nice to change the colors with copics, yes? Hope you fare ok in this next cold blast. Hang on, & stay warm. TFS & Hugs
